Project not saving in the CU A01496

AutoGen_4960596 Joined: 11/7/2024 Last visit: 1/13/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi Friends. recently I changed a CU320 with safety Integrated license card SW4.6 HF22(did not change the card). I load the project to the CU copy Ram to Rom and the machine runs okay. If I shut down the machine I have A.01496 Wait for Communication. Anyone have experience with that? Thanks

The alarm value is important to understand the cause of this alarm. Because the machine was working before it could be alarm value (3), which indicates that communication to the PROFIsafe F-Host is not established. See S120 list manual for details. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109827046 If you just restart the drives and keep the F-PLC powered this fault appears because F-communication is just initialized during start up phase of all components. You can use ACK_REI tag of the F-I/O DB or ACK_GL instruction for user acknowledgement.
