proposed solutions for 7 km wire connection

I there is no available telephone lines (dedicated line modems could be a possibility)or Internet (WAN) connection and you want complete controland privacy, could you look into single mode fiber optic cable with Ethernet or Profivbus DP links? Uisng a communication protocol could make your connections easier to establish and to maintain. If this does not answer your question properly, please explain your application in 9a lt) more details. Data rate will be transfer is few. every site will read only two sensors and control two valves using (4-20ma). I'm looking for a suitable solution in Siemens controls.

How do you plan to use them to exchange data between the CPUs, in the different locations exactly? Do you expect to connect IO modules directly and exchange values that way? We need a lot more information on your application if you expect help from us. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

Looking for appropriate SiemensPSTNModel with GSM backup. alsoLooking for appropriate CPU. and i have no problem in the input and output units.Because each site contains only two sensors (4-20ma analog input signal) and 2 Pumps controling use 0/20ma output signal).
