Hi Jan, There are actually some prompts in the TIA Portal help that describe password-protecting HMI objects. I have attached a two-step example I made where an I/O field is password protected. First, under your HMI tab on the left-hand side, select the "User administration" tab, then go to "User groups". From here, you can add an user group (where you set the password) and an authorization (determines which users get which abilities). In my example, I allow the users the authorization "Change_This_IO". Back to your HMI screen, select the object that you want to protect. Then go to "Properties -> Security". In the Runtime Security field, select the authorization that you want to use (in my case "Change_This_IO"). I might have left out some details, so anyone else feel free to add or correct anything I've stated. Hope this is what you're looking for. AttachmentAssignAuth.zip (562 Downloads) |
