Sidd94 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am using s7-1516-3 PN/DP with analog input module AI8xU/I/RTD/TC ST. I want to read the value of 4 wire PT-100 RTD . I have connected my RTD with channel 6 and channel 7. Can any body help me. How should I program to observe the reading. ?

That RTD modules states 16-bit accuracy, yet the image shows a 32-bit value. If you look at your module's hardware configuration, select the property pane, and look at the IO Tags, it shows 8 INTs, not 8 DINTs. That should help get you started. Be careful about the wiring. Refer to the s7-1500 system manual for proper wiring, and configure to match your specific hardware needs.

Let's start with a screenshot of the RTD module configuration and maybe a picture of the wiring at the module terminals for the PT100. I see the module only accepts 4 RTDs, and uses 2 channels per RTD - one for each side of the bridge. I say once you get the right IW#, like IW200, you may be ready to go, but I saw #8000 which looks like a diagnostic error, and #7FFF which looks like wiring or configuration problem.
