The proposed wiring from kriipcis ok, better than yours, except there is no mention of voltages, if servo has 5V input you can use signal board 5V or add resistors. With 24V don't expect high speeds, not more than 20khz.

Looked at the picture and not sure anymore...Flow trough internal resistors 1,2 kOhm ...May be it still works if OPC is connected to 0 VDC.

You have also to find out if your drive is configured to accept step/dir pulses, not quadrature, as well also other signals SON, ...

You don't need external resistrors, that's true - from attached image there is a 1.2k in series to OPS, that 100k is unreal, probably its 100ohm. If you attach OPS to GND then current won't flow in that direction as there is a LED diode in reverse only (as seen from diagram).

100khz? Perhaps, you have to know that voltage has to swing from 0V to 24Vin a very short time, and outputtransitors can't realy switch so fast, an improvement is to load the output as much possible:

Out currentfornow shall be: (24V- 1.2V(LED forward voltage) ) /(1.2k+100)=22.8/1300=17.5mA

It seems OK for forward current, you should watch with scope when it turns from 24V to 0V. In previous S7-200 I used to install additional resistors in parallel with output for improving switch transient time.

Still there's another possibility to use source type:

Connect PP, NP to 0V , add external resistor 1.2K in series with PG and NG and connect to PTO outputs.

With Junma servo it works fine so far ( 2300 rpm ). I used 2,2k resistors (about 10 mA like Junma manual says). Max speed on 1200 depends also on encoder/resolver (how many imp per revolution).

Parameter 0 = Position control mode.

Parameter 21 = 0001 signed pulse train, positive logic.

Inportant are basic parameters from 0 - 7.

And there are more parameters to set.
