Public variables in a global action(VBS)

Hi

I have written a VBS script in a project module, and I have defined some public variable there. I can use these variables in graphic designer and in global functions, but not in global actions.

I should mention that when I copy the code of that action in a for example mouse click event of a button, it works properly.

I have attached these codes. Please help me with that.Thank youin advance.

I have checked DataSet object to pass variables in different modules, but it is not suitable for arrays. So I used rawdata tag as a solution.

The WinCC manual contains the information for the DataSet object. If you go to Start -> SIMATIC -> WinCC -> WinCC Information System and do a search for DataSet you will see the help available. Your global variable is an array and hopefully the DataSet object will do the same thing.

However I have not used this object myself yet so I don't know exactly how it works ! Hopefully the manual will be enough but if you need further information I would recommend the hotline.

One final suggestion from me, maybeyou could use anInternal Raw Data tag instead. Raw Data tags stores data as a byte array. I think with the latest version of WinCC you can read / write to a Raw Data type tag in VBS as well as C.
