Pulse Generation for position control of Servo in S7

Hello everyone

I m using 412-2dp with et200m.I want to generate maximum possible pulse generator for position reference to servo motor with transistor output module.what w'l be the best way.

Is there any other possiblity to generate maximum frequency pulses by using a transistor output sm module.Who much max resulution i can generated by a sm digital module

For a discrete output, in a simplistic view the maximum frequency of your output will be fmax = 1/(2 x cpu scan time)

For example, assuming a 10 ms scan time, your output max frequency will be 50Hz.
But I guess this will be not enough for you. You should consider a FM module or a cpu with integrated capability like 312 IFM

Exactly, most of the servo-drivers have they own software or scheme for positioning, the only task for the PLC is ask/select for the required position – using Profibus/ProfiNet or even discrete outputs.
