Pulse reading converting

I thought to using FM 350-1 but -I found it complicated. -I don't have module. it'll take long time to buy it. -I'll also need AO module. I also want to see pulses. Forexample a device will tell me that : This pulse is 5V, now it sends 3000 pulses in one second. Thanks for comments.

You can either use an Analog Input module to read the Analog Value so you now the number of pulses to find a module that has serial port so you can get the feedback from there.
