PUT/GET communication on S7-1200

cbazan Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi, I need to communicate two PLC's S7-1200 (1214C) using PUT and GET instructions. I want to program functions PUT/GET in only one of the PLC (PLC_1) so this one can Write data and Read data from PLC_2. The manual talk about "Allow access through communication PUT / GET remote peer" or something like that but I'm using TIA PORTAL V12 SP1 and that option does not exist in properties/Protection (see image attached). It would suffice to put the functions directly in the program of PLC_1 or I have to configure something else ? Thanks Attachment screen.jpg (1793 Downloads)

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello, this function "Allow access through communication PUT / GET remote peer" is available with S7-1500. If the FW of your S7-1200 is <V3, the S7-1200 can only be configured as server with s7 communication. Greetings.
