PWM controlled with cursor/function key

The motor is supplied with 24V DC from an external power source. The speed is controlled using a PWM signal. I need to be able to adjust the minimum, maximum, and everything in between using arrow keys. Can someone help me with this? I'm having trouble with the mapping between the counter value and the PWM. It does have a block called "PWM", but this does not generate a real PWM signal. The module only provides a signal in which the pulse/pause ratio can change within a set time, but no real frequency change. n addition, this would only be practical with a LOGO that has transistor outputs. But even with a LOGO! with transistor outputs, switching the outputs is very dependent on the cycle time.

Michel 1968 Joined: 10/7/2023 Last visit: 12/7/2023 Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	So, the easiest solution would be an external module that converts 1-10 volts (via AM 2 AQ) into a usable PWM signal. Controlling 1-10 volts using the arrow keys works well.

As a rule, these do not have a pure 0-10V input, but rather a 1-10V input. This in turn means that the input can also be operated with a potentiometer, for example, and therefore internal voltage is present at the input. This in turn works against the 0-10V of the AM2 AQ module and clean control is then not possible. Without knowing with datas the module has that you want to use I can say nothing exactly.

These are frequency ranges that are so far outside the LOGO! cycle time... PWM for your needs with the LOGO! you can forget.

Today, I've learned a lot. The PWM doesn't work, so I'm searching for an alternative solution to the problem. The forum and you as a mentor are a great help. regards Michel
