SzTyWnY Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi I have an error trying to make PWM work! Error number is 80D0... I made everything as is written here: https://www.automation.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/Posts/62908 . Unfortunatelly it doesn't want to work. I put some value to the QW1000, and configue everything in CPU properties. Please help, I cannot find this error on the google.

The relay output PLCs do not allow PWM control of the outputs. Only DC outputs allow PWM control. Perhaps that is the PLC you are using?

As Pegaia suggested to reset to factory defaults i did it and compile new project and when trying to upload to PLC it wrote error as you wrote... So you were right and iam sorry. So with RLY outputs I cannot simulate any pulses just for internal use in TIA? (Need simulate frequency on inputs...) Attachment screen.jpg (128 Downloads)

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 12/8/2023 Posts: 4284 Rating: (1381)	Hi, realys output has a very low comutation frequency. It is not allowed to PWM or PTO. The way to have PTO/PWM is either change the CPU or use signal boards on it. In this context you could (just for test propouses) create a user logic that comute your outputs at low frequency and connect it to inputs (for evaluate propouse). But they are correct: PTO/PWM with relay are not allowed.

I agree the PLC configuration options should not exist (be hidden from our view) if they are not allowed.

Is there any possibility to use pulse generators with CPU 2111 AC/DC/Rly with signal board? Thanks for answer. I have attached my printscreen.
