Is the PWM feature not available for my PLC? Am I doing something wrong? Thank You. A pulsing output (PTO or PWM) is not allowed on a relay. You will need to make a pulse with timers, if you wish to generate a pulse on the relays. Or use the pulse output of a PID. In that case the pulse will be slow. Adding a signal board that has outputs will however give you the ability to run a pulsing output. That is a good idea if you need a high pulse frequency.

0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 1/14/2025 Posts: 15533 Rating: (2465)	Relay (RLY) outputs are not compatible with PWM or PTO control since the relays could not keep up with the required speeds for PWM / PTO output toggling, plus, they would likely burn up the relay, or the protective devices for the relay coils. JBS98 Regular Member Joined: 7/19/2022 Last visit: 1/14/2025 Posts: 432 Rating: (71)	Hello AutoGen_1348261, The problem is that CPUs with Rly output cannot be used for PWM. You would need a DQ card to be able to have PWM outputs
