Hello daus; Backtransfer must be enabled by the creator of the HMI program; only then is the .pdz file created and stored on the panel, for later use. see the following document (download the descrition pdf file) How do you back transfer the projects of an operator panel and what should you watch out for? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/nl/en/view/21907703
So your panel might simply not have a .pdz file in memory, ready for backtransfer. See the required procedure in the attachment. The reason for this is simply that memory is limited on the panels, and the .pdz backtransfer file can be large, depending on the memory usage by the user program (trends, alarms, database...). So it is not automatically created, the programmer must specify that the backtransfer tools are used. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
