Question about interrupt port of 95U cpu.

Hello, Expert.

My customer want upgrade system from s5 to s7-1500.

Machine is wire drawing machine.

Maker is EEI. (maybe italy, installed 1995 years)

Drives and motors all EEI, only CPU and little bit IO modules siemens s5.

I curious about interrupt port of CPU.

Because, In the electrical drawings,

There have four serial input card (model 435.2 and each card have 16 point signal) and each serial input card one by one signal come to interrupt signal.

I did searching in internet about 435.2 serial module, but I can't find reference data.

1st serial input card is include overload of protection device and machine air pressure signal.

2nd serial input card is about converter inclusion signal.

3th serial is select switch of converter.

4th serial is a few switch of operation.

How to cpu know many signal through interrupt input? I don't understand.

Somebody can explain to this for me?

Hello,

at the S5-95 you parameterize the alarm-inputs at the DB1.

If there is any signal then is calling the OB3.
You can evaluate the signal in OB3.

You can find more information at the system manual. chapter 9 and 10.
