Hello user; There are various vways, including studying the OB86 local temp variables or reading the Profibus-DP diagnostic data. But there is an easier way that should give you a good hand. Siemens has developped a Profibus-DP diagnosis FB 125, that you can download free and install in your project. It is available here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/387257 It also comes with FC125, a simpler version of the block;FC125 will not signal the slot number of a defective module in a ET 200M rack, for example; the FB125 has that option. Simply follow the setup instructions (call the FB125 in all 3 OBs required) and use the data from the output of the block to program the messages you need. There are also templates to use with WinCC Flexible/Protool, maybe you can make use of them in your application. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
