You could place the cards that are not needed some to the front so that they have no contact any more to the backplain. Please consider to do that with power down. If there is then no start of the CPU, then one of the cards that is over is defective (or more of them). Because this PLC is a long time discontinued, there would only bespareparts from Siemens. For example is the 6ES5921-3WB15 still as sparepart by Siemens.

My plc was initalize,but has not alarm.but My cnc system's Operation model dosn't switch,always hold within "MDI-TE-TO" model.Please tellme how to do it(my plc's user programe memory block is RAM(6FX1123) and isn't EPROM), thands you very much for you reply!!! charisma Member Joined: 12/12/2007 Last visit: 4/26/2018 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	I think is not only a problem with s5-130w, but also with sinumerik system 3, so the first you must connect the plc with PG by as 511 board, then down load the plc program from pg to pc( as you used the RAM, and you have initialled the plc, then all user program had lost, only siemens standard block in cpu). 2nd you need transfer the %te (nc-machinen data) from pg to pc with pcin software. (maybe you need do this job, as i do not know the data lost or not).
