Questions about Fm357-2 M Code usage and channels

is_razi Experienced Member Joined: 3/13/2009 Last visit: 9/28/2023 Posts: 131 Rating: (1)	Hi there, I'm currently using a FM357-2 module as a controller for an automatic snack grinding machine.the problems that I'm facing now are as following.please guide me to solve these problems. 1- How are the strobe signals activation sequences for M code execution. 2-There are 5 bytes in "FMx" DB in addresses from DBB158 to DBB162,i.e "M function number 1" to "M function number 5" , what are these bytes stands for and what are the number 1 to 5 stands for. 3- As you know there are seperate M code signals and bytes in the so called "FMx" DB for each FM357-2 configured channel . How somebody can address M codes for each specific channel in NC program. Please if you have any example program specifically for using M codes in FM357 let me know about that. is_razi Experienced Member Joined: 3/13/2009 Last visit: 9/28/2023 Posts: 131 Rating: (1)	Is there anybody??please somebody help me about Mcode execution in FM357-2 module.I used the MDI mode in the "start-up" window to issue a M code and check if there is any activation for the aforementioned DB signals, by setting a memory bit on the edge detection of those signals, but there were nothing.except that I got a "Aux func ack signal time out" message in the "start-up" interface. please let me know how must I use Mcodes for a sequence of some switchings. thanks for your considerations .

ingaz Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	HI Mr. Razi, thank you for your kind replay, just like you i made a solution i am using M8 in my program to activate an action in the PLC program, i made"FM1".CH[1].AUXILF.MF8 to ack."FM1".CH[1].CTR.ACKN_AUXILF, but i called it direct in OB1 instead of the FC. and its worked.
