Questions about HSC in S7-1200

Now I have set up the HSC in device configuration and configured an event CV=PV to generate interrupt in OB200. Thing is when an event occurs (counter reaches 1000 for example) interrupt routine does not trigger. Is it necessary to use "attach interrupt" instruction to connect event to interrupt routine? If do what is the event number? If not any ideas what might be the problem here?

Don't actually know what was the problem but it works. Now I have another question - how many CV=PV events can be programmed in S7-1200? My program needs at least 3 of them.S7-200 offers 10 steps, that is 10 interrupt routines but as I see from the manual and TIA Portal only one is offered for S7-1200. Is that correct?

With best regards Cicero Thank you Cicero for your answer, I know about that document which emphasis is more on hardware aspect of HSC and not at all on programming of HSC. Nevertheless I think I'm going to simply use ID1000 as an operand in instructions and hope the whole thing will work fast enough without interrupt routines.

Hi, in S7-200 it is possible to program 10 CV=PV interrupt routines via HSC wizard (I mean it can also be done manually, it's pretty simple) by setting a new PV (and/or CV) value in each routine (please see attached picture).Now I don't get it how something like that should be done in S7-1200. You say by setting up a new PV in interrupt routine. You mean by setting PV bit for the CTRL_HSC instruction or using a new CTRL_HSC instruction in interrupt routine? You mean by setting PV bit for the CTRL_HSC instruction or using a new CTRL_HSC instruction in interrupt routine? You can use only one CTRL_HSC instruction per HSC in your program. I would place this instruction in it's own FC with all inputs except the HSC numberas input variables of this FC. You can call this FC more than once from anywhere in your programincluding your interrupt routine. In this call you setthe inputs as you need for your action. To set a new PV, set the RV bit to "1",theNW_RVto the new value,and the other inputs to "0"in this block call.
