Sorry, I misunderstood your question. Yes, in ISO mode (named "ISO dialect" in the Siemens documentation) R parameters cannot be used. I think that the only thing you can do is to switch back and forth from Siemens mode to ISO mode with G290/G291. In Siemens mode youdo the calculations with the R parameters and assign the result to the system variable $C_MACPAR that you will use after in ISO mode. Please look at the $C_MACPAR in the Function Manual ISO dialects http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/65371498chapter 2.3.3 The problem is that you cannot write from ISO to $C_MACPAR but you can only read in ISO what is written in $C_MACPAR. So it is a read-only mode. |
