Rack, mounting rail max. how many components accomodate

How many components can be maximum mounted on 

S7 1200 mounting rail and S7 1500  mounting RAIL small and big?

Is for decide a new mounting rail and ET200 module need to purchase or not for project budget quoting?

For 1200 - 8 modules

For 1500 - 32 modules

Regarding capacity:

It all depends on the modules that you will use.

For example, the 6ES7 521-1BL10-0AA0 module has a width of 25 mm.

Allocate 200 mm for the PLC, the rest for the modules and then

670/25 = 26 modules (something like this)
