Random failure when executing the zero

I guess you have the Siwarex FTA module, right?

2.

To set the Trigger-flag for one second is wrong!

You have to set the Trigger-flag only for one-time from FALSE to TRUE (= with a positive edge from FALSE to TRUE).

After that, do nothing with this Trigger-flag.

The FB41 (= “SIWA_FTA”) reset this Trigger-flag automatically back to FALSE.

3.

If you can’t see the bit "bo_STA_DOSING_STEP_2":

Which dosing step is on in that moment:

- "bo_STA_DOSING_STEP_0"

- "bo_STA_DOSING_STEP_1"

- "bo_STA_DOSING_STEP_3"

- "bo_STA_DOSING_STEP_4"

- "bo_STA_DOSING_STEP_5"

Which value can you see before you execute the zeroing command „21“?

How long can you see the last weight into the process variable "r_PROCESS_VALUE1"?

What are you doing to see no longer the last weight?

Hello Urantia,

If you are executing a command, you write the command-code to “CMD_Code” and you set the Trigger-flag ”CMD_Trigger”.

After the command executing, you receive a feedback-flag from the Siwarex FTA for one PLC-cycle:

Either the flag “CMD_FinishedOk” or the flag “CMD_FinishedError” is coming.

Which feedback-flag is coming, when you execute the command 651?

Which feedback-flag is coming, when you execute the command 21?

When you receive the flag “CMD_FinishedError”, then store the value of the DB_Scale.DBB9.

This is the error-code of your rejected command.

Which value can you see in the DB_Scale.DBB9?

If you have the Siwatool-software, you can see also into the error message buffer the reason of a rejected command.

Such a screenshot is insufficient.

Well, into your Siwatool-file, I can see into the error message buffer, that there is often the error message:
„Data- / operating-error 013: Command or data transfer not allowed in this operating status“

It seems, as if the FTA rejects often your commands !?!

I checked your parameter settings, but I saw no issues!

Also I downloaded your Siwatool-file to my Siwarex FTA, and it was possible for me to start a dosing.

Therefore I have a wish to you:
Exactly in that moment, when you have that issue on site:
Is it possible for you to generate a new Siwatool file, please.
See also the attached file.

(I’m interested in that new Siwatool-file:
- your current weight value of the scale
- the coming error message
- ... )

Thanks for your Siwatool file.

I guess, I found your issue!

Into your Siwatool file, I can see that you had the error message:

„Data Data- / operating-error 141: Start not possible since set value > max. permitted set value

That means:

The Start is not possible because the defined set value does not match the current scale status.

The following must apply:

Current gross + set value (DR20) – current trailing + shut-off correction value < maximum weighing range

Into your Siwatool file the parameters are:

- Gross process value (DR30): -0.053 kg

- Set weight (DR20): 61.861 kg

- Trailing weight (DR22): 1.0 kg

- Shut-off correction value (DR22): 0.0 kg

- Maximum weight for weighing range 1 (DR3): 60.0 kg

The calculation is:

-0.053 kg + 61.861 kg – 1.0 kg + 0.0 kg < 60.0 kg

60.808 < 60.0 <= THAT’S WRONG!

Or in shorter words:

Your set weight (= 61.861 kg) is larger than the defined weighing range in the DR3 (= 60 kg).

One question:

Can you increase the weighing range in DR3?
