RDP vs webnavigator

I tried to connect with a console option (%SystemRoot%\system32\mstsc.exe -console) but it doesn't fix the problem. My question, how can i work with RDP and a stable webnavigator?

Michael K Gold Member Joined: 9/3/2008 Last visit: 4/11/2025 Posts: 933 Rating: (164)	Hi Enia, As K!ke suggests between the lines, you need to install WebNavigator on its own Terminal Server next to the WinCC server. So you for example have OSSRV1 and TSWEBSRV1, where OSSRV1 is your wincc server and TSWEBSRV1 is your terminal server that your clients will RDP into and run WebNavigator from. Enia Experienced Member Joined: 9/12/2008 Last visit: 10/21/2023 Posts: 73 Rating: (2)	No the problem is: I have 1 server with WinCC + webnavigator. When i program / change the WinCC program i used RDP to login and change the software (and reboot WinCC ). But when i use RDP and start the WinCC application then webnavigator stops working (i see only logging tags). The only way to solve this is to goto the PC (server) and login and reboot and start again witout using RDP.

This is stated in the release notes/readme files + the link I gave earlier.
