Read and write hardware I/O with WinCC.

Any ideas to do it? I would think like this: An object within the PLC witch can write and read hardware I/O. Within WinCC I can set and get the tags configured on this block. We (my colleaguae) will make it like this but...... Anyone a better idea? Some tips? Some tricks? I have heard about reading and writing hardware I/O with VB-scripting maybe I can use this within WinCC? Thanks in advance, Jaap

You can create tags in the tag management and then you can use this tags in a VBS-script like a defined variable. Also you can write a block for the PLC, were you get and set tag by using the BSEND / BRESV - block and Raw Data Type in WinCC. This rawdata you have to dedoce with a script in WinCC. regards cumulus

I want to write Hardware I/O, so I1.1 or PIW40 and then with it's symbolname witch is in the symbollistlike: writing "HJTP104_PT30" (hardware adress 1.1). I know how to make it, like I discribed, but maybe someone has a better idea or tips or tricks. Greets, Jaap
