read and write program to memory submodule (6ES5 375-8LC))

I am going to read the program of a memory submodule 8k*8BIT and write it to another memory submodule using power PG.

Is any special software required for doing it?

We are using a Power PG with windows 2000 installed on it.

I think isn´t problem ... u can read your EPROM module and program to EEPROM module

Proceed as follows when working with S5 memory modules :

1. Switch on your device.

2. In your STEP 5 software, start the function Administration > Edit EPROM.

3. With the type label pointing to the rear, insert the SIMATIC S5 Memory Card or the S5 adapter into the Memory Card interface and then the S5 memory module.

4. You can read, program or erase (EEPROMs only) your S5 memory module with the EPROM functions of the STEP 5 software.

5. Extract the S5 memory module.

6. Close the EPROM functions of your STEP 5 software.
