read in archive file problem

wind041 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear all: recently, I got some trouble with the NCU module which version is 572.2. after the general rest of NC and PLC I want to read the NC archive file into the control. but when the procedure was almost completed, it was stopped with the error " this file is not an archive file, check the setting for the interface". and I tried serval times with serval version of NC archive files, but the situation was same,However the two green lightsof the NCU module were up, all the parameters and programs are recovered. Didsome of youhave the sameproblem before, is there any risksif werun the machine in such condition. Thank you in advance, look forward to your reply!

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello... Are you able to move your axis? have you checked it..better attached screen shot of the same.... As i understand from your infromations your loading your machine backupsfrom the machine itself...hope you have PCU50 / MMC103 Any alarm messaged up when you get this error?? Have loaded your NC as well as PLC archive backups too right.... If you have Laptop with HMI advanced PC/PG try loading your machine backups from it.... Check it out and revert back. Revert back... wind041 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	all the axises can move, and there is no any alarm came out after I restarted the machine, everything looks normal as before. but I am just afraid that thereare still some parameters not be input the system and will result in some serious damaged to the machine during the production afterwards.
