Reading 3rw44 parameters with cp342-5

hernan_e Posts: 53 Rating: (2)	I am using a 3rw44 through a cp342-5 via DP_SEND and DP_RECV its ok for turn ON/OFF and reading current, but how can I read parameters? Precisely I would like to read the "Rated Operating Current Ie" I've tried to use SFC 59 but doesn't work.. (perhaps I put wrong parameters) there are screenshots in Attachment of my hardware configuration and the manual page of 3rw44 where indicate the dataset Is this possible? how could be readed? thanks Attachment Documento1.jpg (35 Downloads)

A CP342-5 can only be a DPV0 DP master. You do however need a DPV1 capable DP Master to doDataset read/writerequests (these are done via the acyclic services which a DPV0 DP Master can NOT do). The only solution is to use the CPU's onboard DP port or an S7-400 with either the onboard DP port or a CP443-5 extended. I hope this helps
