reading alarms or errors from a sensor

PC4 Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hi, does anyone know the best way to read errors or alarms from sensor like pressure or valve positioners? The sesors are profibus pa devices. But i also have a cp 341 that i would like to use the diagnostic interrupt using OB82 but i don't understand how to do this. Mike

If it is over Profibus DP for instance, the standard mechanisms can be used. And if the sensors support DPV1, you could read records from the sensors. Other sensors support HART protocol, and can be connected to modules supporting HART.
