Reading entire csv file

Hi

For my application I need to read the data from multiple lines in excel, for example: Data 1 is on line one, Data 2 on line two, ...

I've used this example to open the file: Reading data by means of a script

But this only opens the last line of the file, is there any way that I select a line to read or transfer the whole file to a DB? The data is used as a setpoint for motion control purposes.

open the file with .open and Mode = 2 -> Output

then when you use the function "LineInputString" then you read the first line until you reach Return or return Lineffeed.

when you use the LineinputString again after the fist one you read out the next line in Outputstream.

You can work until you reach EOF (you can use the VBS Function).

I think we speak in different ways.

Here a small example:

Its a Textfile and the First Line ist 1 and the last Line is 3.

Is this the same you mean.

So you have to use a Read Buffer Array if you want to read out a file backwards.
