reading HART AI module

I have this module in a configuration with a CPU 315-2DP processor and IM153-2 extension. In the field there is an equipment (flow totalizer) which will send over HART its curent value (usualy it sent its instantaneous flow and the totalizing is being calculated in PLC, but here is not the case). Do I need some special software tool besides S7 or I just read entries like it were normal 4..20 analog inputs (for instance IW20)? I don't intend to parametrise the flow totalizer, it will come already set from the producer. Thank you for your time. Best regards, h2_504

What I don't know is if I can read HART parameters of the equipment which is on a specific analog input and use it in my program or do I need something more? I found something about PDM software, but it seems that this softeare is only to parameterize the HART equipment. Best regards, h2_504

Here is a quote that should clear things up a bit: Configuration of HART variables You assign the HART variables in STEP 7 HW Config.
