can anyone help with following?

I created a array in a DB: Feeder [1...31] of type INT, and I like to read a specific area in this array and compare this with a INT.

example:
L DB.Feeder [VAR] (VAR has the value 21 for example)
L 4
compare

As Juergen already has mentioned , this type of notation is for SCL.I only suggest working on SCL in case of arrays (inside DBs),Read more HERE for a sample codes for both SCL and STL.Please note, how working on SCL is convenient and easy!

But for STL, your project are vulnerable to structure of the DB.Any change in the structure of DB , destroys all your great work and time spent on your calculation! To avoid repeating your work again and again use SCL!

But to do it in STL,you should know :

• How to implement loops
• How to calculate pointers to access byte/word/dword
• Manipulation of address registers
• Calculate physical address in each iteration
