reading inputs from ET 200M via profinet

small1978 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a problem with reading inputs from ET 200M via profinet, using CP 343-1 and CPU 313C. When I start PNIO_recive function the CPU stops. I have renamed FC12 to FC112, because FC12 was already occupied. On "CPLADDR" I put W#16#110, beacuse this is the start address of AI module 272. Please help me with advice, what should I do to run the communication between CPU and ET 200M. Attachment block.zip (48 Downloads)

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 3/26/2025 Posts: 3043 Rating: (1061)	Hello small1978 you need to use the I/O address of your CP343-1 as the CPLADDR address parameter of PNIO_RECV (or PNIO_SEND for that matter). Everythingelse you need to know about usage of PNIO_SEND and PNIO_RECV can be foundin the FAQ below (note too that using F1 on the FC's itself will give you the context sensitive help on them): How do you program communication blocks FC11 and FC12 for the PROFINET IO controller? I hope this helps P.S: It is permissibleto give theseFC's a different number.

FilnallyI've succeeded to read values from ET 200M.I think mymistakes were that I' ve tried to connect 16 DI module with start address 3 and 8AI module with start address 272!!! I think the difference was too big and the CP had to read 287 byte, that's why my CPU goes to STOP mode. I had to change start address of AI module to 5.And thesecond mistake was that I've tried to load FC 12 directly in OB1 with one NO contact for start the function, when I put FC12 in FB100, asin the example, and removed NO contact for start the function all became correct. I post this for those whohave the same problem as I had. I must buy you a beer Fritz
