Reading status with D_ACT_DP

Am I messing something up in the syntax? ET200_Busy seems to never go true and ET200_RetVal is stuck at -32621. Thanks! It is advisable to read more about those function plus SFC51 from HERE.

From the documentation: 0: Request information on whether the addressed component is activated or deactivated Error Information 0001 The DP slave/PROFINET IO device is active. (this error code is possible only with MODE = 0.) 0002 The DP slave/PROFINET IO device is deactivated (this error code is possible only with MODE = 0.) EDIT: OK, I figured out the problem. That error code is actually8093 in base 16, which means that there's no device with that address. Turns out you have to use the diagnostic address and not the Profibus address. If I use the diagnostic address it works, however the state is always returned as "1" (meaning active), even if I disconnect the slave from the network...

Hello, Thank you for your feedback It was obvious that you selected that randomly.In chapter 16 of this manual , you will find all system functions related to "Distributed I/Os or PROFINET IO " .Also check what diagnostics option you will have by using SFC51 .Read more about them and select the function based on your requirement.Please, search the forum or online support for neumerous samples and previous discussions.This extensilvely saves your time!
