REAL time Clock

qayyum faiz Experienced Member Joined: 7/30/2012 Last visit: 1/16/2025 Posts: 127 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I am trying to create a small project using S7-1200 PLC which involves real time clock i want to operate something like street lights for instance i want three lights to operate from 7-8 p.m. after 8 p.m. six lights are turned ON. i am unable to configure those WR_SYS_T and other commands related to RTC please help me out with this one with examples...

Hello, One possible solution is shown in the attachment.Current date and time of CPU is read by "RD_SYS_T" and the value is stored as a local "DTL" variable.This variable has several components,you can use "HOUR"as USINT as described here.By simple comparison,you can activate or de-activate outputs.
