Hi, im new here and new to siemens recipies.

Ive created some recipies in a Basic KTP700 panel and a screen with buttons with event "SetDataRecordToPLC" command  to push the Recipe and Datarecord to PLC. Usually this works fine, but maybe 1 in 20 times, just one  of the values from my recipe is not transferred. the plc just reflects the 'old' value. no error message or anything.

Is this a known issue and do you have any pointers on how to avoid this ?

How do you delete the IM folder of your TIA project?

I downloaded the latest update for TIA 15.1 (V8) and updated the panel to 15.01.00.00_24.01

and loaded my project again.

When loading the project the loader wants to 'fit' the project. i looks like that option will downgrade some components on the panel. how can i update my project panel to the same as my firmware?

Just updating the panel firmware had no effect on my issue. will try the IM folder delete

This update cannot be configured in TIA PORTAL, after all it is the same image version V15.01 which is the important thing, as only the following panel versions can be configured in TIA PORTAL

Deleting the IM folder had no effect on my transfer issue.

I also deleted some placeholders (4 bin and 4 ui) from my recipies that were ment for future use. now im only transferring 5 float and 1 ui with every recipe. and still about every 1/20 transfer one value is missing.

This is still hunting me, one of the recipie values is not always transfered.

Is there 2 softwares that need to be updated, both the OS and the Firmware?

I did update from TIA, and the panel was updated to 15.01.00.00_24.01, so what is updated with this?

-and the update to "KTP700_V15_01_00_07.fwf" can only be done using flashdrive?
