I have a machine which have 15 different process. For some product i need only 5 process and in some product i need 7 process. Process count will change for different product.

I want to know how this can be done in HMI. Can i use recipe function in this application?

Recipes are usually designed for a set of products that contain elements from a defined set. You can define your 15 processes as this set of elements.

Please have a look at the following link for information on configuration and working of recipes in HMI. The programming of processes is done in PLC.

On second thought, you can use a WORD variable where each bit acts as a selector of 1 out of 15 processes. Configure code of this variable for every product in HMI.

I have a machine which do some process over fabric. Fabric feed into machine is around 1000 mtrs. This machine is capable to do 50 different process. This process include intake of water, inserting of chemical, to increase temperature, to hold temperature, to decrease temperature, drain of chemical, etc..

Different fabric have needs different process. I need a platform where i can prepare a recipe of 50 different process. I will make a recipe using a name 'abc" and prepare recipe for say 30 process, download it to PLC and PLC will start work on it.

I am using TIA Portal V13. TP HMI etc.  I am not using Wincc 7.4 SCADA.

With the recipes you can define values to be set for a bunch of Tags.

You can define the Tags that will take part (recipe entries) and you can define what values should be loaded into them (data records).

If you want to define e.g. 50 steps = 50 Tags, and for each step an process ID into a data record, you can do that.

Using a Textlist to pair a process ID to a name for the process is more complicated I am afraid...
