Recipe string search

EloyFm Regular Member Joined: 5/6/2014 Last visit: 4/16/2025 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Good afternoon, I am working with a 1200 plc and a TP1200 comfort hmi screen with Tia Portal V15.1 and Wincc Advanced. On the screen I have the recipe viewer where the operator edits new recipes. They have a total of approximately 100 recipes and now the client asks me if I can add a recipe search function, so that as the operator enters the letters of the work order (the recipe) the recipes that match appear. If it can be done, the only way would be through the visual basic script. If someone can help me I would be so thankful. Greetings!

You could export the recipes to Excel, and use a script to see if it exists and, if found, load the recipe into the viewer (just an example as an idea).

I guided myself through this tutorial but I can't figure out how I can compare the text entered by the operator with the recipes already saved in the file. The other question is how to load the recipe into the viewer through the script. Greetings!
