Dear All, Our plant has 24 station - CPU 414-5h, HMI - TP1500 using touch screens & two Cisco switch using each panels. Please check my attached file. CPU A and CPU B has H system, so fiber optic cable link with each others.(Data sync. purpose) CPU A connect to Switch A - ethernet - seperate ip configure CPU B connect to switch B - ethernet - seperate ip configure Switch A connect to HMI (Port 1) - ethernet - seperate ip configure Switch B connect to HMI (Port 2) - ethernet - seperate ip configure Switch 1 connect to cisco core switch 1 (Top side) - fiber optic Switch 2 connect to cisco core switch 2 (Top side) - fiber optic Core switch 1 & 2 connect top side only My question below, 1) CPU-A has master that time i will remove the cable from CPU-A to Cisco switch. That time no communication in the HMI. if can possible for CPU B via communication to HMI? (CPU A Master only) 2) CPU-A has master that time i will power off
