we have a project in wastwater treatment. in this project we used three redundancy 417H siemens. (totally 6 unit of 417H). all data collected via fiber optic cable and come to central control room. now i want to know how can we make network redundant. i want from our remote I/O tow fiber optic cable comes to my main redundancy PLC (s7-417H). witch module should i use? how should connect to fiber optic to remote I/O and how connect tow fiber optic to our redundancy CPU (417-H). witch module should use between them.

is it possible connect fiber optic cable to the PLC(s7-417H)  and remote I/O(ET200M) directly ??

I would suggest this type of installation (as shown in the attachment).

Your selection or OLM/G11 (glass fiber) or OLM/P11 (plastic fiber) will depend on the distance to cover between the S7-400H masters and the redundant slave.
