I am using CPU414-4H with CP443-1 for lan communication with wincc.I have toacheive the wincc redundancy so where i have to create the driver connection in WINCC ? Is it i have to create in named connection?

In NetPro you need to form a S7 fault tolerant connection Not only that, you will also require a CP 1613 for your PC (Normal LAN port of the PC, i.e "IE general" does not work with S7-fault tolerant connection)A beautiful explanation for same from one of thepostby J_bell. J_Bell Hello, well, let me try to offer you an answer for your two questions. SIMATIC NET offers with the SOFTNET Software the interface for one Ethernet NIC in your PC. Sadly is the support limited to one NIC not two of them. So you will not be able to handle two Ethernet NICs with S7 Connections in one PC. The SOFTNET driver is also not capable of handling fault tolerant S7-Connections. It is not possible to configure a S7-H-Connection with an IE-General. If you want to have redundant networks and network Cards and you want fault tolerant S7-Connections there is no way around CP 16X3 and Redconnect S7 Software.
