Hello Adrbat! To achieve redundancy with Siemens S7-1500 series CPUs, it is generally recommended to use the S7-1515R CPUs, which are specifically designed for redundancy. The S7-1515R CPUs support media redundancy (S2 redundancy) and are built to handle failover scenarios seamlessly. With the CPUs you have you could only get an s1 redundancy, in which connected to a periphery, if this connection drops, it can go another way. You need a SIMATIC S7-1500R/H system so that the user's program can be run in parallel. I attach an FAQ that explains the types of redundancy. In addition, it may be that with a redundancy of 1313R you have enough for the application you want, which are the lowest range. - What are PROFINET redundancy functions? |
