I got it, My program only have 2 IEC function block. instead of writing 2 at IEC LEN in OB100, i wrote 8. after changing it to 2 everything is fine. Once again thank you for your support. Another question, as you have seen in my network config, i use the ethernet to comunicate with wincc. how do i know which cpu is working (A or B)? how do i config the tag?

The last chapter of the Software Redundancy manual is dedicated to establishing communications with WinCC; it proposes a template for a connectivity screen to view and control the status of the redundant CPUs, and explains how to create the tags for this application. Their example selects tags in the MPI directory of the S7 protocol Suite, but it will work with Industrial Ethernet tags. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

I have the manual for winCC redundant (S7SWRCCb.pdf) and could not find a way to create short-term archive (please attachment), i also could not find DynWizedit.exe. please help, i am new to winCC. thanks Attachment WinCC Redundant.pdf (55 Downloads)

Your originaL request was for a way for WinCC to recognize which of the redundant CPUs was active (promary), am I correct? let's concentrate on one problem at a time. Have you looked at the Software Redundancy manual, as suggested, the one that showed you the FBs and the OBs for redundancy between 2 S7-300 CPUs? The last chapter of the manual is dedicated to connections between the CPUs and WinCC. Let's get that part working first; then we'll work on the next problem.
