Redundant Communication b/w Stand alone system and Plant DCS

Isthe DCS system you show a Siemens S7-400H (PCS 7) or another maker? What about the standalone PLC? A S7-400, S7-300, S7-200, S7-1200 or another brand? What type of network are you planning to use: Profibus-DP, Ethernet, or another? Please clarify your project design so we can discuss the various issues. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

(note the link to the manual in it too) How do you configure a Y link module with an S7-200 CPU as slave and an S7-400H system? How do you operate anY Link on a redundant ABB system?
