Hello tinkof; With a S7-300 CPU you cannot use H-system redundancy. This is reserved for S7-400H CPUs, preconfigured controllers with specialized fiber-optic ports dedicated to redundancy, and dedicated software and firmware to support H-programming.. With the CPU you plan to use you can only use Software Redundancy (SWR), where you have to plan a network connection (and hardware) to setup the redundancy communication, and program the redundant part of your application based on SWR function blocks and specifications. You must purchase the SWR icense, install it in Step 7 and program it adequately for this system to work to your satisfaction. For help as you develop your program, many members here have worked with SWR and have already provided answers to typical questions; just use the Site Exploere search box at the top right of this page to look for rhese various threads. O visit us and ask your questions on the main forum as you need to. For more information, have a look at these documents: SIMATIC S7-300/S7-400 Software redundancy for SIMATIC S7 Which modules can you use when implementing software redundancy? How do you install the Software Redundancy V1.2 (SP3) in MS Windows 7 (or higher)? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
