redundant opc server?

How can i establish and define an opc server redundant with step7 in the hardware config and in the net pro? do i need to make anything else? do i need any licensed for this? i enclose a jpeg image to show my case. J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, I have to admit I am a bit confused, because what is the Redundancy in your Case? You have two Systems which have one Connection to one Node at a time. This is no redundancy. If you would have two Networks or a redundant System this would be a difference but in this case... To use the S7-1613 Software or Softnet S7 you need a suitable License. Soone of the OPC Server must access both S7300, but depending on aspecificflag activated in one of S7300 (the "master one""), the OPC Server must read data from this S7, discarding data from the other one. Is there any configuration possiblein Step7 to help me on this task? Regards Mike

Calm_down Posts: 324 Rating: (30)	Hello Mike, well I have to say I know that there is a Software redundancy for the S7-300 but a "real" redundancy for the S7 is only possible with an S7-400. I am sure that Siemes Customer Support will assist you also with the possible S7-300 Softwareredundancy. Don't worry stay calm.
