Hi Everyone, I'm about to configure a fault-tolerant system with a redundant PLC having a two CP 443-1 also with a redundant Plant bus. However this is my first time to configure a redundant Plant bus I'm quite confused how can I merged two plant bus communication for my engineering station and servers. I will attached the screenshot of the following: System architecture. Hardware config Merge unmerge industrial ethernet. I hope someone can help me thank you. Hi, The merge/unmerge of the Industrial Ethernet is done for projects inside the multiproject to establish a integrated plant bus. For instance, when you have a multiproject consisting of two projects: AS project and OS server project, then in each project you can create a subnet Plant bus. So each project has a plant bus, but to act as one, you need to merge the two plant bus subnets into one. It's called Ethernet wide. For setting up a redundant plant bus network for the CPU, you can create one subnet Plant bus and connect both CPU (Rack0 and 1) to it. |
