Hello SIR; The following document is a very good introduction on the S7-1500 system, and has a section that discusses power supplies. Start by reading that section (chapter 12) to understand the different types of PS and PM used in the S7-1500, https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/attachments/109481357/s71500_et200mp_in_a_nutshell_en-US.pdf?download=true The attachment below (taken from that manual) states that you can use SITOP power supplies to form a redundant pair of external power supplies for the S7-1500. To do so, choose your 24VDC power supplies in the SITOP catalog (there is a link to SITOP units that can be used with the S7-1500 at the bottom of the first document), and add a redundancy module between the two: Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
