Reference Data access error

There are something to do more.

I faced this issue & resolved with copy for new project...still need further action. Need to "DELETE" the reference & "REGENERATE" again.

-  Tried steps {copy project into new one part by part. To be more detailed} . Created "NEW" project.
step1. Created SIMATIC 300.
step2. Then open Hardware. go to insert --> Insert Object--> Select SIMATIC 300--> Rack-300-->Rail.
step3. Copied all hardwares PS, CPU (it will copy all programs), CP (it need to define  Profibus address networked), then IOs (it automatically copied all FCs & DBs etc).
step4.  compile the program.
step5. Now if you check your blocks, again same error code for "reference". Now follow step6.
step6. { on your project, right click on the bloc folder, data reference, select "delete" and confirm messages
then, again : on your project, right click on the bloc folder, data reference, select"generate", it recreates all the data.}.

Finally it works. Reference is working. See Attachment for more detail.

The safety PLC doesn't generate any reference data (if I delete all the internal content from the XUTILS). I have actually tried all the variants described. I have only been able to get reference data with the following steps:

1. Delete all the internal content from the XUTILS folder

2. Compile safety program with update reference data

After that, the reference data works and I'm also able to generate reference data (update, regenerate).

-Archive your Project.

-Delete all the internal content from the XUTILS folder, and generate again the Reference Data.

The error messages you are receiving indicate that there is a problem with the reference data in your Simatic S7 project. The reference data is a database that stores information about the objects in your project, such as function blocks, data blocks, and variables.

The first error message, "Display (567:26) Internal Error. Unable to set up the connection between the two objects," indicates that the reference data is corrupted and that Step 7 is unable to access it.

The second error message, "Location (30:515) Unable to find the reference data requested for execution," indicates that Step 7 is unable to find the reference data for a particular object. This can happen if the reference data is corrupted or if the object has been deleted from the project.

The third error message, "Utah-SOM-Error ! File SOMObject.cpp, Line:1443 Text: Exception calling utah," indicates that there is a problem with the SOMObject class in the Simatic S7 software. This class is responsible for managing the reference data.

There are a few things you can try to resolve these issues:

1. Close and reopen Step 7.This may clear up any temporary glitches that are causing the problems.
2. Check the reference data for corruption.To do this, go toOptions>Reference Data>Check Consistency. If Step 7 finds any errors in the reference data, it will attempt to repair them.
3. Regenerate the reference data.To do this, go toOptions>Reference Data>Generate Reference Data. This will create a new reference data database from the objects in your project.
4. Update your Simatic S7 software.Siemens releases updates to Simatic S7 on a regular basis. These updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements.

Here are some additional troubleshooting tips:

• Try creating a new project and importing your code and data blocks into it.
• Try exporting your project to a different format and then importing it back into Step 7.
• Try using a different version of Step 7.
• Try running Step 7 in compatibility mode for Windows 7.
