Reference Shifting...

Kutty19 Posts: 38 Rating: (1)	Hi, In an 840D controller I did some changes in memory altered parameters ……………. After corrected the parameter I did NCK reset (I forgotten to take an NC archive) after NCK reset all data’s were lost…. So I decided to load the existing original backup …. After loaded original backup the ATC absolute encoder reference position got shifted …………….. My question is What was the reason for reference shifting ? & How it is possible when I loaded the existing original backup ?

garanimanu Posts: 31 Rating: (5)	dear you are changed the memorie altered parameter , before making the nck reset you have to take the back up, you loaded the original back up for that original values are loaded, once again make referencing and take the back up for future

As nit said before itself this problem may be there.

The originalArchive file was in archive dir in PCU 50 itself................ Now the machine was in production for that reason i m notintersted to do anything.... If its free i ll again load the same backup & i ll check...

Hi I didn't refer to the original Backup but for the parameters on the machine. If someone have had a mechanical problem (for example a broken belt) and had had to change the reference position, the backup and the real value of the position on the machine would differ. I agree with the NIT statement it is absolutely true....it could be some thing broken with your mechnicals and reference point would have been changed during that time....backup what you have loaded is the orginal and ofcourse there be the position differ.
