REG S7400-3H AND DCS COMMUNINICATION THROUGH MODBUS TCP IP

We are using scalance x101-1 media convertor.Please clarify my doubt. 1.send,receive blocks i have to use FC5,FC6 or any other special blocks are available for redundant system. 2.whether i have to include scalance x101-1 in hardare configuration or not re quired . thanks
