Regarding Parameterization of 8 fixed frequency

Ashutosh Kr Bronze Member Joined: 3/15/2011 Last visit: 9/26/2022 Posts: 134 Rating: (9)	Dear all i 'm using sinamics s120 having CU 320-2 DP and TM31 terminal module. i want to configure following 8 frequencies ther are :- 1) 5Hz 2) 12.5 Hz 3) 25 Hz 4) 50 Hz 5) -5 Hz 6) -12.5 Hz 7)-25 Hz 8) -50 Hz For each of these frequency i have one ditial input in the terminal module from DI 0 -DO -7 (X520,X540,X530) i am using following parameters :- 1001= 5Hz 1002=12.5Hz 1003=25Hz 1004=50Hz 1005= -5Hz 1006=-12.5 Hz 1007= -25 Hz 1008=-50 Hz what values i need to place at parameters 1020,1021,1022,1023 since there are eight different DI"s and only four fixed setpoint selection( 1020,1021,1022,1023 ) i'm unable to use more than 4 frequencies,i know this is possible via Free Function Block.So Please guide me how to implement the above application. Ashutosh Kr Bronze Member Joined: 3/15/2011 Last visit: 9/26/2022 Posts: 134 Rating: (9)	Dear Greame Thank you very much for your reply, i have a small doubt regarding this Suppose say 1007(-25 Hz) goes high then 1020,1021,1022 gets high at the same time,then how does the drive get know which speed setpoint is to be selected. one thing that i forget to mention is that my DI's are commimg from a master controller in such a way that only one DI is high at any time. Hope you understand my point. Thanks for your answer once a again

Hi Ashutosh Kr, If you look at page 2 of my document, you will note that when P1020, P1021, and P1022 are high, then only P1007 is switched through to r1024 (to the Main setpoint) So if you look at the OR gates, then when you activate the single digital input 7 (r4022.6), then all of the three logic gates become logic '1' and the setpoint will be whatever is programmed into P1007.
